bentref ffair
Village fair
On the 26th July 2008 we enjoyed our annual village fair. It was a great success and the weather was kind. Everyone enjoyed themselves on a sunny afternoon.
The venue was a field next to the station by kind permission of John Griffiths, There was loads to do and see, including, face painting, a bbq, a tea tent suppying home made cakes etc, (delicious), plenty of oportunity to win all sorts of prizes from cash and whisky to lolipops, some involved an element of skill and others just plain good luck!! Great fun!! There were bric-a-brac stalls, craft and plant stalls, to name but a few. There were races for the children, egg and spoon, sack race, sprinting etc. If anyone has any pictures or more specific details on the event please email them and I can include them here.

We were entertained by the Tywyn Silver Band.
This BBQ run by John Thomas helped to keep everyone fed.
