The Parish of Llangelynnin has two churches, both named after Saint Celynnin. Hen Eglwys Llangelynnin Old Church at Llangelynnin is some two miles south of the village of Llwyngwril on the A493. There is ample parking on the lay-bys just above the church. St Celynnin's Church is just south of the centre of the village opposite Ysgol Llwyngwril.
Both churches are normally open during daylight hours.

A very popular and fast becoming a traditional event looked foward to by many; but do wrap up warm and if possible bring a torch as there is no heating or lighting in the Old Church.
